~~The Bouvier Alter ` St Patricks Cathedral~~

26 September 2010

Spring had arrived the rains off the ocean made for cool days .beales altar-1

The conversation this day was faith it was Sunday morning.
The radio was clogged with interference the static filled  our sermon making nearly impossible to fully hear.
The sound of the pipe organ did alert me to the end of the sermon, not a minute too soon.
Mrs.Beale had begun to cook some bacon which did smell far better then the mansion this particular morning.
Easter Season was upon us I have always kept my faith very near my choices for each day I have lived.
I’m off to church in town I mentioned to Mrs.Beale!
“Little Jerry please do set a bunch of privet upon the alter”
I was a clumsy young man, a bit private yet, did question Mrs.Beale about placing a bunch of privet hedge that morning on the alter in town.
”Actually I was referring to Michele Bouviers Alter in New York City”.,Mrs.Beale
After some conversation I did now beging to understand that my duty was to place a bouget of privet on the Bouvier Alter in St.Patrick’s Cathedral.
It would months before I had time , train fare , to travel into new York City.
There towards the center of the cathedral heading east and to the left is the Bouvier alter.

As had been since my first glance of the peaks of Mrs.Beales mansion  my fascination with Grey Gardens continued to be heightened.

Painter, Sculptor, and Architect

While the artists who came after Giotto were doing there best to
imitate and to understand nature, bending every faculty to increase
that high comprehension sometimes called intelligence, the Almighty
took pity on there often fruitless labor.

He resolved to send to earth a spirit capable of supreme expression in
the entire arts one able to give form to painting, perfection to
sculpture, and grandeur to architecture.

The Almighty Creator also graciously endowed this chosen one with an
understanding of philosophy and with the grace of poetry.
And because he had observed that in Tuscany men were more zealous in
study and more diligent in labor then in the rest of Italy, He decreed
that Florence should be the birthplace of this divinely endowed spirit

~~ Full Moon~~

full-moon-briars

Demanding to put it lightly. Yet there is an order here that I thrive on. Weather wise there is a full moon rising over New York City, from out east. Always a lesson to be learned. Even the most head strong of us (I speak for myself) must continue to adapt. to improve ourselves. I for one have many defects of character, yet comparing them to my early days I`ve learned to keep or try to keep an open mind. Minds are like parachutes they only work when they are open. It has occurred to me that as I age it become more difficult to except change. This is actually therapeutic for me to acknowledge this here and in a public forum. My intention is remain vigilant and to the point (I guess it is the New Yorker in me).It probably does not make for good bedside manners, but who has manners in bed. “Thiers a full moon on the rise” Jerry
