Today is more precious then any day I have lived, it is the present day.
This day I choose to give of myself as never before, today I can share what is good in life ,by returning to others what I know is good.
The road has led me to know respect .

We are human beings , that is a great calling for we have the choices to enhance our lives and our neighbors lives simply with the gifts of respect.

This day I can choose the road of responsibility for my fellow human being.

It has been years since the life we have known was ever mentioned, to anyone none the less now, yet it is time. To those who read of this fellow Robert James Hays, he was my partner, friend,trusted companion. The times in which we knew were private as neither one of us knew any more about life except that we loved living it and shared it together.
I have in my silence never mentioned your name to anyone , you were known by very few in a city that forgets with each sunrise, the very people who walked her streets.
Our lives together have allowed me to honor you this day, so that others would understand that you were and have been in my heart and changed my life since we had met.
I have missed you and in the years of silence that have seperated our time I have thought of our days together, and thank you still for the consideration and wisdom you had taught me so many years ago.
May you continue to rest in the peace of the Kingdom of Heaven
