This is the rear of Ruin’s craved out of  Italian sandstone (dorata) meaning gold.

With in the piece are corridor’s leaning to the feel of  tunnels.

I began this 451 lbs sculpture with fanciful visions of  ruins  once explored in   Egypt , Greece  & Rome.

There were vague visions of  a ruin long forgotton in the Arabian Penisula. , that also  occupied my mind while working on this stone!

This sculpture  is a rough cut stone , Dorata, from the quarrys of Carrara Italy.

The journey of life is one of the most interesting gifts I believe given to any living creature non the less human beings.
We have such potential to carve our dreams into our lives, freedom is the tool which allows us this liberty.
Through the ages that have been before our days paving the cultures for the present day , in which we exist.
Our planet soars through the cosmos with history being written , by the inhabitants who roam about.

That is a wondrous mystery  for we are capable of forging a human condition on this planet , that may never again  occur   in the history of infinity .

My thoughts are we may be an experiment by a great good ,evaluating through the ages our potential to travel further then this consciousness?
My faith warms my heart in knowing that we human beings are responsible for the quality that is Godliness, a supreme order of goodness that is without judgement .
I wait in certain confidence that there is a greater good and a plan in which we may, or may not be privileged to know.
