~~Clinton~~

If while we live our days are shared with those who come to love, see things as only a true friend can see then I have lived to share a friendship.
Wayne -Clinton- Graves was born in the City of New York, Brooklyn. We lived on opposite sides of the park known as Prospect. We found in each other a bond that begun and will remain paramount in my life’s journey.
~Wayne ~Clinton ~Graves was murdered on Oct.19 2011. Losing my trusted friend to such a violent act, drew me into the border of darkness and near isolation.
I had learned the luxury of isolation as a young man, in a tutor’s residence.
The wave that hit my shoreline the day I found my friend, was powerful, I drew strength from lessons taught to me from those who actually loved me along my journey. Here is *Dorata Italian Limestone, I have set my hammer and chisel to carve this figure, for the memory of a human being, named ~~Wayne -Clinton-Graves~~

Losing someone we love is always difficult, but to do so in such a senseless way can be devastating. I am so very sorry you had to experience such a tragedy. Try to let the strength of your love for Wayne, and all the good memories of your times together, bring you smiles instead of tears. I’m sure your amazing tribute to him brought a huge smile to his face. God bless you, Jerry.
You are truly a great friend.

Yes, Wayne is smiling in heaven! He would absolutely LOVE that you named a sculpture for him. He admired your talent so much. Wonderful!
Jerry,
I knew Wayne died, but I had no idea it was that tragic. I just cannot truly express how sad that makes me.
The work is awesome and to know you created it for the loss of a loved one makes it even more beautiful!
Please know we all are here for you at any time. I wish there could be something I could say or do to lessen your grief, but I know only time can do that.
Prayers,Hugs & Love to you always.
