My parents met on this beach it was a public place for working class people , there were once trolley cars that would snake there way to the shore.
Luna Park & Steeplechase Park had amusements and side shows like never seen before that time. It is due for a complete renovation due to its having been purchased my Disney & Company.
This may be one of that last videos of what was one Coney Island.

Oh this is so sad it’s going to change. I wish it’d maintain that Family Feel and no admission fee. I wish I’d gone there to experience it in its HeyDay.

Well, Jerry I certainly hope the Coney Island experience doesn’t become just a memory as I’ve never been there but always wanted to see it. It has such a colourful history. Great video with you and your pals. I hope it isn’t the last one of the grand Coney Island.
