Grey Gardeners
It has been over 35 years since my time at Grey Gardens. The years that I have lived alone with my memories have been and the remarkable legacy of those days are reborn.
The many people who have now found what I had found so remarkable have been many.
Of course with each perosn who contacts me it is my nature to respond respectfully. The issue with my responding to the many people who are now discovering the leagcy of Grey Gardens is constant.
Please know that with each sentiment that is shared with me my best wishes for each and everyone is paramount.
Im a personal man one who respects life and the people in it, if I do not respond to any one in perticular it is because there are so many dear people it would occupy a great deal of my days.
Please know that Im grateful for all of the fans of the Grey Gardens
legacy.
May this day and everyday find everyone living and loving our friendships.

Oh bless you Jerry, one can only imagine what a busy life you have already with your stone carving career, creativity and not to mention personal/ family life, yet you still devote time to sharing with us all your memories and experiences on your website!
I for one was sharing your musings with my husband the other day and mentioned I had posted messages to you, and when I told him you’d replied in person he was amazed that you were so kind to take that time to reply to people at all, he said ‘what a guy!’.
Also, the very essence of your above message gives yet more credence and understanding to just why you became so important a friend to both Mrs Beale and Edie.
You come across as such a lovely, caring man, and even though we are ‘strangers’ from all around the world, you’ve welcomed us all as friends into your world of ‘Vintage Grey Gardens’.

It has been a highlight getting to know you through the GG site, and now here. Your excellent stories and reminiscences just add another layer to who you are and how you represent the Beales and Grey Gardens…Your kindness speaks volumes, and I for one am so greatful to you for sharing your thoughts and stories!! I imagine it is very difficult to sift through the volumes of correspondance and comments, yet I feel as though you have us all in mind when you do respond!!
