Chichen Itza Group of the Thousand Columns
Have just returned form exploring the ruins of Chichen Itza.
Stone sculpture has me fascinated, these monuments to past civilizations endure the test of time. I had to visit this site wander onto the the Temple of the warriors. The monumental task of constructing these pillars just fascinates my soul. Ive found my self exploring first hand these ruins . I’m now 55 years of age , this year will I will press the limits of my skills as a sculptor.

Jerry,
When my sister visit the ruins in Mexico, she said it was beyond anything she has ever seen. This past summer we were going on a cruise to see the ruins, but due to the things that were going on, we were unable to go. My husband and I one day want to visit.

Hi ~~Sean~~
I did snorkel in a river that travels through a underground tunnel. The ruins have made a impression on me as an artist. Im going to begin several sculptures using the ideas Ive gathered form the sites .
Ive some sculptures that need to be finished before I can begin these new ideas.

Gosh Jerry ! I wish we had KNOWN you were going to Chichen Itza! Some of us might have gone with you! Or maybe that’s WHY you didn’t tell anyone! Ha! But man we sure enjoyed your birthday over on the GG group just think how much fun you missed!
I think the ruins of Chichen Itza are most fascinating! Did you see where they did the human sacrifices centuries ago? By the way, I turned fifty five about a month ago and let me tell you IT AINT THAT BAD! I am loving every minute of this life!
I can’t wait to see the sculptures that the future unleashes under your hand. Do you think that any of what you have seen in Mexico will influence your style? Did you get to go into any of the caves?
Well get some rest, you must be exhausted after your flight home. Thanks for keeping us posted on your adventures! They are marvellous! Sean in freezing freezing Germany
