Marble Faun Of Grey Gardens – Musical Trailer

Hello dear subscribers and friends of The Faun! Jerry’s film has moved into its final stages and we are looking forward to a release of the film later this year. We have shown some of our rough cuts to a few select individuals and have received some great compliments, as well as some insightful critique. We have been highly encouraged by people’s desire to see this film produced and released.

As first-time film makers we want to be sure we do right by Jerry and release the best possible interpretation of his life. This homespun project has grown and developed naturally, everything has neatly fallen into place for us and it has been truly wonderful to work on this project with Jerry. We look forward to working with like-minded individuals and companies to see us through the final stages of this production.

The following is an initial trailer for the film, meant to give some preliminary glimpses of the production. We hope you enjoy it!

    Oh Jerry, this is such great news, my friend. I’m very much looking forward to seeing the film, wish we could see it together. Who knows, I might make it up to NY again in the next year or two. Can’t wait to hug yours and Ted’s neck again. Miss and love you guys. xoxox

    Dearest Jerry, thank you for sharing your world with me. I enjoyed your video very much. I do have a question. The house surrounded by wheat or tall grass, after the church… where is that house? Should I know?

      Yes that is` tall grass, that picture is that of the rear portion of Grey Gardens, the mansion.

    I shared this trailer to my Facebook page. I love the trailer; it is a nice mix of nostalgia and the bittersweet. I was immediately emotionally engaged. I look forward to seeing the film.

    Jerry, Steve, and Jason:

    This brought tears to my eyes! So perfectly poignant, so tastefully done, and with such elegance (the music, the lovely, yet simple design). The shot of Jerry looking at the photos of Edie and Mrs. Beale really got me.

    Jerry, they would be so proud of you. After all, Little Edie “christened” you, gave you the name, and you’ve truly come full circle.
