We spoke of the great step, often and through our years. A great step that either of us would take first, my buddy Wayne took the first step, unannounced and completely unexpectedly. Tonight I will look for that brightest of stars and name it for you, my wise friend.

Wayne was sparkling. He has such a sweet spirit and I am so sorry that the world doesn’t have Wayne in it anymore. I know you miss your dear friend but he’s still with you–you can carry him in your heart always–

How very beautiful,the song made me cry the lyrics were so touching! I feel your grief, I lost my mom about 4 years ago and I still cannot believe it!! I go to call her and remember she isn’t there. It breaks my heart knowing I’ll never hear her sweet voice or laugh again. I adored her as I know you loved and adored Wayne.
Think of the good times if you can, I know it is too soon now, but just know we are here for you.
